Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Announced
Activision has released the trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty game which is set to be released on November 4, 2014. The trailer is narrated by a shockingly lifelike version of Kevin Spacey who is preaching anti-democracy semantics and looking very much like his role in “House of Cards.” Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, lives up to its name without falter by being littered with futuristic tech from the battlesuits that the characters are wearing, the weaponry, drones, and the vehicles. It is very apparent by this being Activision’s next installment of the Call of Duty Franchise that they are gearing up to compete with Respawn Entertainment’s, Titanfall, as well as game of the year prospect, Destiny, which is also set to be released in Q4 of 2014.
Sledgehammer Games, who co-developed Modern Warfare 3 with Infinity Ward, will be taking the reigns for this next installment of the Call of Duty franchise. It can’t be determined just by a three minute trailer but it seems that this may be the Call of Duty that everyone has been waiting for. Many fans, even though being loyal to the series, have been wanting an innovative approach to the franchise and with this more modern feel it may just be what the doctor ordered. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS3. However, since Xbox still has an agreement with the Call of Duty franchise you can expect some exclusive content for Xbox One owners. No PC version has been announced yet, but you can assume that one will become available if not on release date then shortly after.
