A Look Into The Destiny House of Wolves DLC Expansion
Destiny was one of the most popular video games for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when it was released last September. It was one of the first games that truly showed off what the new generation of video game consoles could do. A lot of video game players may have spent most of their time on newer games recently, but they will have a reason to put Destiny back in the console. Bungie is proving their dedication to their game by releasing the second DLC expansion pack for Destiny on May 19th, 2015 called “House of Wolves.”
What is Included in the Expansion
Bungie wants everyone to play for months after the release of the Destiny House of Wolves DLC expansion, so they have packed it with a ton of content. While Destiny was not known for its great story, the new expansion will include three new story missions. Video game players have spent most of their time playing multiplayer modes in Destiny, but soon they will have some fresh game play. In addition to the three new multiplayer modes, there will also be three new arenas and a new store will also be available to purchase exclusive weapons and gear.
Players will have to hunt down former allies of the Queen after they betrayed her in the new Destiny House of Wolves DLC Expansion. This story will take place through three new missions, but the overall length of the new story has not been revealed.
Multiplayer fans will get a new cooperative strike, arena mode and a new competitive mode in the Destiny House of Wolves DLC Expansion. The Shadow Thief will have three players work together to hunt down a mercenary called Taniks. Prison of Elders is a new arena mode that has five rounds of enemies that increase in difficulty. Bungie has promised a bonus for beating the Prison of Elders, but that has not been revealed yet. The final multiplayer mode is Trials of Osiris, which will pit two teams of three players as they attempt to eliminate the other team. The first team to eliminate every member of the other team five times wins the match. Gamers will have three new arenas to play these new additions to Destiny, but the Crucible arena is only available on the PlayStation 4.
Weapons and Gear Store
Destiny fans always had to purchase their gear and weapons at Earth’s Tower, but that will no longer be the case. A new location called The Queen’s Bay will be introduced in The Reef. A group of new vendors will be located in The Queen’s Bay to sell all of the new gear and weapons that will be introduced in the expansion.
