Destiny Rise of Iron New PvP Mode Supremacy
The Destiny Rise of Iron new PvP mode Supremacy will breath new life into the player verses player experience come September. Get ready for an all new Crucible mode that will test your team playing skills. Destiny year 3 promises to be jam packed with content for every type of Destiny player, including those who stick to the competitive side of things.
In a nutshell, the objectives of Supremacy mode will be to kill the enemy and have them drop their “crests”. Your team can then score by picking up that crest. You can only score points if you, or someone on your team, picks up the crest. You can also be denied those point if someone on the opposing team picks up the crest before you or someone on your team picks it up. The enemy cannot score by picking up a crest dropped by one of their teammates but they can deny the other team the points by picking it up before they have a chance to. Pretty straight forward concept. You and your team can succeed in Supremacy mode but only if you work together. Have to get a kill and then get close enough to that kill, in order to pick up the dropped crest, creates a whole new level of involvement by you and your team. If you are used to hanging back and scouting out enemies or sniping, it will be harder for you to earn point on your own during these encounters. That’s where your teamwork will have to step up. You will have to work together with your teammates in order to coordinate times to get kill and pick up crests. It seems like good communication is going to prevail in this new type of game-play.
There will also be three type of Supremacy Mode that you will be able to experience. The regular 6 verses 6 team deathmatch, where you and five teammate go on a killing spree. There’s also Inferno Supremacy, just in case having a new PvP mode wasn’t hard enough, now you have to do the whole thing without the player radar. Lastly there is a rumble type mode where you and five other individuals go in and all fight against each other. Getting crest from another person kill is not going to go over well in this mode. I can hear the trolling already.
With the addition of the Destiny Rise of Iron new PvP mode Supremacy, there will be tons of new play styles emerging and a lot of new strategies to try out. I can’t wait to get my fireteam in there and have them clean up all the crests from my scout rifle kills. That’s gonna be the plan for me at least. Bungie will be dropping more and more information about the new additions to the game as we get closer to the release of Rise of Iron, so stay tuned to AreYouGaming for all the information as it develops. From everyone here at AYG…….Game On!
