The Division 1.6 D3 FNC Build. You Will Be Feared
Here is The Division 1.6 D3 FNC Build that we’ve been working on. If you take a look at the video you will see that the pieces of gear that the R.N.G. Gods gave us were not completely min/maxed but that really just means there is room for improvement even within this SICK build. Before we even get into the breakdown of this build I will say one thing is for sure with The Division 1.6 D3 FNC build…if you play it correctly, you will never lose a 1v1 again! Now let’s get into it.
We have chosen to go with a 4 part D3FNC build with a 2 part High-End piece build. There are a few ways you could play this build that would also be fairly outstanding. For instance, this is the one gear set that would work really well with Colonel Bliss’ Holster. We would have built a set around that as well but the Holster we have is a really bad roll and it would not have been good to run with, so, this is what we came up with.
Major Attributes: Health and Health on Kill
Minor Attribute: Ammo Capacity
This is the one piece of gear that I have chosen to make my Firearms piece. You will need at least one piece of your gear set to be Firearms and the rest will be Electronics. The reason we are going with one piece of gear with Firearms, is to unlock the weapon talents that we are going to use. Also, we are going with Vigorous because it is a good idea to run an over-heal whenever you are using a build that centers around electronics and skill power. which we are.
Major Attribute: Skill Power
Minor Attribute: Burn Resistance
This is one piece of gear where you don’t have both options for health or skill power as a major attribute. Therefore, make sure you spec for skill power here so you can spec for health in other places. As for as the minor attribute, you have some options here because none of them really affect your overall output of damage with the Division 1.6 D3 FNC build that we are working with, exception of “damage to elites”. I put burn resistance because you can always use more burn resistance.
Major Attribute: Health
Minor Attributes: Burn and Shock Resistance as well as Damage to Elites
Health is the number one attribute that we are always looking for so in every area where it is an option, we pick it over all others. Burn and Shock Resistance are always the two resistances that we try to spec for because they are the two attack skills that you will come across the most while playing, in PVP especially. the Damage to Elites is to give you a little extra edge when coming across those Elites in both PVP and PVE.
Major Attribute: Health
Minor attribute: Ammo Capacity or Burn Resistance
The Inventive talent gives you a 15 percent increase to skill power while you are at full health. This is a significant boost to skills and will make all your skill stronger, like the Ballistic Shield we will be using with this build; and since we will be using our shield a lot, our health will remain at full almost all of the time. This is why we went with Inventive…just too good to pass up.
Major Attributes: Critical Hit Damage, Health on Kill, SMG Damage/Critical Hit Chance
The most important attribute here for The Division 1.6 D3 FNC build that we have is Health on Kill. The reason being, which we will go into detail in just a bit, is that we are not using a healing skill in our player skill options, so we will need all the passive healing that we can get. more on this later. The other attributes here are a little less important. I suggest going with what works best for your weapons in particular.
Major Attribute: Health
Here is another piece of gear where we can roll for health. The more health the better overall we will be.
I also mentioned before that Colonel Bliss’ Holster would be a good choice here as well but then you would have to change either your Backpack or Chest piece in order to keep a 4 part D3-FNC build. Your call. If we had a better Bliss’ Holster in our inventory, we might have opted to go with it, but we don’t. Use at your own discretion.
We went with 2 Mods for Electronics and Health to get our overall toughness over 300k. Also our Performance Mods are all Ballistic Shield Health. The Shield Health is very important because with The Division 1.6 D3 FNC Build, you will have your Ballistic Shield out the majority of the time.
We recommend a Navy MP5 or MP7. With the Navy MP5, the damage output seems to be great. The MP7 option would be good as well if you can find one with some decent damage stats. Your call, so long as you are using an SMG. In case you didn’t realize it yet, the 4 piece D3-FNC let’s you us and SMG while you have your shield active. If you are using anything other than an SMG then, when you active your Ballistic Shield, your will automatically be switched to your Pistol.
Between the 3 Shield options, the Assault Shield has the lowest hit points, at 2 Million. 2 Million is plenty for any situation you will come across. I’ve tried them all and the other Shields have 2.7 and 4.1 million hit points. In gameplay, you will see that the Assault Shield is just fine for any combat situation. Feel free to try the others and pick the one you work best with.
Also, I have chosen the Active Sensor turret because with The Division 1.6 D3 FNC Build, it is very important to CONTROL THE SPACE IN FRONT OF YOU. The turret helps you do that in a big way. Check out the video at the top of this article to see just how this works.
Recovery Link, in my option is the better of the three Signature Skills hands down. Always choose it.
Since we are not using a healing skill, we will be relying on our Medkits for most of our healing. Spec your talents for the Medkit perks and you will get the most out of the Medkits every time you use one.
This D3 FNC build is genuinely feared in PVP. We have had players turn the corner, see what they were going to be up against, and literally turn back around and run away. Most players don’t want to deal with an experienced agent with a huge shield to protect them, with good reason. Since running this build, we have never lost a 1v1 in PVP. Not in the Dark Zone or Last Stand. It is a tough and scary build that people will think twice on going against. Go out and crush all who oppose you!
