The Division 1.6 Firecrest Build Breakdown
Here is The Division 1.6 Firecrest build breakdown for those of you who want to watch those Rogues burn! There are a ton of different ways to put this build together. We are going to go over the gear, weapons, talents, skills, weapon mods and gear mods to use in order to make the best Firecrest build possible. Let’s get right into it.
This Build is a four part Firecrest gear and a two part High End build. The two high end pieces are going to be the chest piece and the backpack. I will go over each piece and explain why I’m using that particular piece of gear and also what to try and get on those pieces as well. Each piece should have the highest armor as possible as well.
High End Firearms(this will you only Firearms piece) with the talent, Vigorous. Armor as close to 2003 as possible.
Major Attributes: Health, with Skill Haste or Health on Kill
Minor Attribute: Ammo Capacity
Vigorous grants over-heal to all healing skills. Since this Division 1.6 Firecrest build is very center around damage from you Fire Turret, the amount of health you have is lower than it could be. The reason that is, is because we are specing so much to skill power that we can’t spec into health as much as we want to. That where the Vigorous talent comes in. Having an over-heal on gives us that extra health that we would otherwise not have, and keep in mind that if we go down, our turret goes down too. If we want our turret to keep damaging opponents then we have to stay alive as long as possible.
Major Attribute: Skill Power
Minor Attribute: Burn Resistance
This is one piece of gear where you don’t have both options for health or skill power as a major attribute. Therefore, make sure you spec for skill power here so you can spec for health in other places. As for as the minor attribute, you have some options here because none of them really affect your overall output of damage with the exception of “damage to elites”. I put burn resistance because you can always use more burn resistance.
Major Attribute: Health(Skill Power is a good option too but you will get more benefit from Health)
Minor Attributes: Burn, Bleed and Shock resistances
This is another place you should be specing for Health. Again, since our Division 1.6 Firecrest build is centered around electronics and skill power, we need to pick up some addition health where ever we can. That is why health would be the best options here on the Knee Pads. For the minor attributes; burn, bleed and shock will be the status effects that you will come across most so those are the one’s you should try and resist.
Major Attribute: Health
Minor attribute: Ammo Capacity or Burn resistance
Relentless gives 5% of damage done by skills returned to you as healing. Now, I’ve tried every talent option for the backpacks and, this one seems to be the best for this Division 1.6 Firecrest build. There is also Resourceful(All healing applied to you is also applied to your skill objects) but since your Electronics is so high with this build, you don’t need to heal your turret as much. Both are great options but I have found that Relentless works better in the long run. Since your turret is going to be the main source of your damage output, it will in turn be a good source of healing. Remember, we need to be alive in order for our turret to keep doing damage to opponents so, the more healing we can get, the better.
Major Attributes: Health on Kill, Critical Hit Chance, Critical Hit Damage
The reason for no weapon damage options here is to give you a little freedom of choice. If you get locked into something like Assault Rifle Damage, then you will only get the most out of your gloves if you are using an Assault Rifle. With these choices you have the freedom to use any weapon you want and still get the most out of your attributes. I would call this the best option. Skill haste is an okay options here as well, but like I said before, we are specing so much into electronics and skill power that we don’t really need any extra skill haste in our attributes. This Division 1.6 Firecrest Build is also a massive Tech build, if you couldn’t tell ;^)
Major Attribute: Health
This is one piece of armor where you have an option for Health but not Skill Power. There are other choices as well but Health will be the best option here.
If you need a little extra Firearms or Stamina to unlock weapon talents then do so but you want as much Electronics and Skill Power as possible. Also, your Performance Mods should all be Turret Damage. Your turret is going to be doing most of your damage output so you want it as powerful as possible. You don’t need turret health or turret duration, just turret damage.
Use what works best for you. The Talents you can try for are any of the one that affect your Skills. Competent, Determined and Talented; all three of these Talents directly affect your Skills and Skill Power. Spec for these as best you can. If you don’t have them, is should not make that much of a difference.
Fire Turret is the bread and butter of this build. It will be covering your back and dealing tons of damage. With the specific set up we have, it will also be healing you. It is the ultimate teammate and backup.
First Aid Defibrillator is the best option as your second skill. I’ve tried the Support Station as well but the First Aid with Defibrillator heals faster and for more points. It is the better choice for sure.
Recovery Link, in my option is the better of the three Signature Skills hands down. Always choose it.
Your other two talents are up to you. Use what works best for you. If you find that you want a little more help with your talents though, Strike back and Triage are good additions to your talents but like I said before Combat Medic and Wildfire are the must have talents for this build. Combat Medic to heal your turret as needs and Wildfire to increase your fire damage to as many opponents as possible at all times.
What can you expect from The Division 1.6 Firecrest build? You are a one man wrecking machine that only gets better with teammates. Everyone burns…and if you someone is burning then you are getting healed. You are controlling areas, dealing burn damage, supporting your team and healing all the time. This build fun and works well in PVE or PVP. I use it a lot in Last Stand and it dominates. Give it a shot and let me know how you like it in the comments.
