The Division 1.7 Global Event ASSAULT Preparation
The Division 1.7 Global Event ASSAULT Preparation will be a lot easier than you think. Mainly because there are only a few bits of information that we have to go on. Having said that, we will go over; some build types you can use, certain weapons and mod to start collecting, types of game play strategies and which missions you can look forward to grinding. Let’s break it down.
The Division 1.7 Global Event ASSAULT Preparation start with the builds you wanna go with. The Global Event is going to weigh heavily on Close Range Damage. Also, the enemy type is going to focus on the LMB(Last Man Battalion). If you go into your Dossier and check out your commendations for “GE Assault”, you will see that some of the commendations involve getting increased close range damage bonuses. What that means is, in order to take advantage of all of the Global Event boosts that will be offered, you will have to engage in some close quarters combat. Now, for the recommended build types, you should go with a build that compliments close quarters combat. Something like, Lone Star, Alphabridge, Sentry’s Call…pretty much any build that will increase the damage of your close ranged weapons, i.e. shotguns, pistols, smgs, whichever you work best with.
Weapons and Mods
The Division 1.7 Global Event ASSAULT Preparation for weapons and mods will consist of amping up that close range damage. I am personally going to be using a tech build or the Lone Start build. The reason for that is that you already get some good weapon damage bonuses from the Lone Star build and you can get some good Skill power help from the Tacticians build. Whenever I want to get the most out of my weapons, when using s Tacticians build, I mod my SMG’s with tons of Critical Hit Damage, and then run with a pulse to get even more critical hit chance as well. This will give you a very powerful SMG to help with all of that close quarters combat that you will be encountering. Also, The Lone Star build is specifically designed for two different weapon types, one of which is a Shotgun. Running Lone Start with all those weapon boost will be a great way to crush those LMB in any situation. If you don’t already have a good SMG or Shotgun or even a good Assault Rifle, now’s the time to grind for that gear. Make sure you do so you can get the jump on this next Global Event.
Game Play Strategies Which missions to practice grinding
The Division 1.7 Global Event ASSAULT Preparation for Game Play is to start running any main missions that involve the LMB. Those missions include: Queens Tunnel Camp, Russian Consulate, General Assembly, Grand Central Station, and for the incursion, Falcon’s Lost. Now I’m sure you’ve run these missions a million times before but, now that you know that you will have to do a lot of close range combat, you can go back and tweak your game play to cater to a more aggressive play style. I personally have a less aggressive play style so I will have to go back and practice running up on those LMB and crush it in close range. I am looking forward to the humility that will ensue.
Outside side of the information listed above, The Division 1.7 Global Event ASSAULT Preparation is just to wait it out. The creators did mention that there will be a delay on the release date for the Global Event due to the modifications that they are making to the Tier Rewards structure. So, it will not be that you need to collect the most GE Credits in an hour. I will most likely be something tied to your players involvement with the global event. We don’t know specifically because they haven’t said specifically what it will be. We will just have to be patient I guess. Which is the worst.
