This year, Sony’s E3 Press Conference is supposedly going to “bring the rain” when it comes to exciting and new technologies.
E3 is coming in June and the rumor mill has been churning all month. Nintendo once again is giving up their stage time at the conference and Microsoft is claiming to be bringing the big guns this year with all forms of multimedia. Showtime and Steven Speilberg plan on announcing their Halo television show at E3 and Microsoft claims to have a dozen exclusives for the Xbox One to be revealed. Therefore, Sony needs to bring it like they did last year if they want to win the E3 “competition.” However, due to an anonymous source within, Sony’s E3 press conference plans on doing just that.
Dualshockers.com reported their source gave the BBH marketing firm a comprehensive list of Sony’s announcements for their E3 stage presentation. Even though this is still considered a rumor some of these leaks have been dual sourced and are more than likely true. From the looks of it Sony plans on bringing their flagship titles to the frontlines and re-launching some titles that helped make the PS1 such a powerhouse system. With Project Morpheus and Playstation Now to make an appearance as well, Sony seems geared up to win E3 for the second year in a row. Whether these rumors hold up when Sony takes the stage in June only time will tell. But, if this list holds true then PS4 owners are definitely in for a good year of gaming.
